I wish I could join the trip, but I don't know whether I am here or overseas by that time.
However, JIGNPOFORUM will support the trip fully.

Ryan,
Talked to Steve Kowalski. If you can get him on the list, please add him. We are definitely in regardless of dates, times, whatever. Water's never too deep and the trip can never be too long. I've got "OK guy's, let em go" as a ringtone. Yea.

Ryan dates sound great to me! I am really looking forward to this.

Is there any time set aside to fluke for bait on the way out? I definately want to make sure I come a little more prepared for this trip than the one I did in the spring. Guess I will have to build another rod and pick up a jigger for this one lol.

Yea, I've been thinking about this trip since stepping off the last one. 9 guys out of 22 sending in the deposits....hope everyone gets off the fence soon. Want to make this one a reality. Excellent timing for this trip, weather and moon should be great. Thinking about the ice situation. Almost 7 days out in July...we'll be catching plenty but have to be able to keep the meat in the best condition for that length of time. Any word on what Steve has in mind for this? Besides the Tiles, tuna are ice eaters and we should be nailing them as well. I'm sure this is on the table, but haven't heard. Anything special in the works on this? One of a kind trip, I'm pumped. Let's not make Ryan sweat out the commitments.....it's right around the corner. I agree, damn good chance of the record coming home with us. Third day out... sunset.... someone's gonna stick something they've never stuck before. Yea.

So far we have 11 guys paid and six guys that will be paying in the next few weeks . We still have five spots open . The Ice will be taken care of and I will make sure we have enough ice for the trip . No coolers will get ice until fish are caught , guys over filling all of there coolers for the steam out is a waste of ice . The trip will be great and I know Capt Steven and Capt Carl are very excited about the trip . It will be nice to fish with a bunch of experienced deep drop fishermen that all hand crank .. Guys should bring a trolling setup for tuna , trolling in between spots has produced for me many times..... I will be bring a bunch of trolling lures and the boat also has a great selection of lures that we can use . Once we have everyone payed we can discuss tackle ,food and other issues .

I NEED EVERYONE TO PAY THERE DEPOSIT BY MARCH 15TH , IF YOU CANNOT COMMIT I NEED TO KNOW ASAP

THANKS

This is going to be a trip for the ages.

Man those are some slob tiles.
Unfortunately where I fish, S. FL. the current is too strong to jig except on a rare day. Anything over 30lbs down here is considered big.
I think I must put one of these trips on my bucket list. Keep up the good work guys.

Thanks E.F.
I've caught them as shallow as 550 and as deep as 950. I usually fish the shallower 600-700 areas as it is mud/marl and less snags. The deeper areas hold some larger fish but they have some deepwater corals that you can snag on.

We fish in the same depths up here . Some of our spots are very sticky also and strong current can be a big problem for us as well .

Ryan is fishing in remote places some where in Asia for three weeks until mid April now.
I heard the trip is almost booked and the trip is on as scheduled.

Should be a nice trip, waters have been warm this season so I'm suspecting the tuna should be around. If that's the case, I may jump on trip last minute if you still have room. It's just I'm not much of bottom fisherman. Either way sounds like history ti be made.
