One customer came to my shop and told me he was a mate on a charter boat in Ontario Lake.
When I asked whether they jig for trout and salmon, he said never.
I told him some enjoy jigging trout/salmon successfully in Ontario Lake recently.
I got an email from him recently they want to invite me for jigging because Capt of the charter boat is very interested in jigging trout/salmon. He said they mark lots of trout/salmon close to the bottom in late April and in Early May.
There is no reason to say NO and I accepted the offer. :)

I was addicted to king salmon jigging after I caught my first tye on a jig in
British Columbia.
Since, I had fished salmon on jigs in Langara Island, Prince Ruppert, BC as well as out of Seward, Sitka andKodiak Island, AK.

The most productive jigs were 5" - 6" long slim jigs like Luhr Jensen Stinger jig.
I observe jig fishermen in Ontario Lake prefer to use weighted swimbait jig.

I am very excited to jig salmon again.
