I currently have a shimano trinidad 20 and would like to pair it with a BH cape cod special acid wrap. The rod will mainly be used for aj, grouper and others in south florida and the islands.  Which of these models is best matched with this size reel?  I read another post about the jig weights from hafnor and Kil for the 250 gram rod (150-350g jigs).  How about the 350g model?  Jigs 200-450g reasonable?  Thanks for the input.

As you see pictures on the other thread, I landed 220 lb bluefin with prototype 200g Black Hole rod and Scott landed 251 lb yellowfin with 350g Black Hole Cape Cod Special jigging rod on the recent Excel trip.

250g Black Hole Cape Cod Special is good for AJ, grouper and others in South Florida, but the Trinidad 20 is not.

Trinidad 20's max drag is about 15 - 17 lb and the reel is for 30 - 40 lb line.
