Bluefin jigging/popping in Cape Cod is around the corner.
I am going to post info and trip reports for bluefin in Cape Cod in 2012 here.
I don't arrange any trip in advance because of my uncertain business /fishing trip schedules. It cost to arrange a fishing trip with top-notch Capts like Dom, Josh or Jimmy the Greek.
If anyone who can not make a commitment in advance, but can go on a short notice, let me know. I'll compile list for short notice trips. I'll try to find the best boats available.

We have about 10 guys on the list now.
Chartering a good boat on a short notice in prime time is tough as most well known boats are booked in advance. But I'll do my best to book reputable boats when bluefin bite.

One boat out of LI landed a 60" bluefin in Chicken Canyon yesterday and I expect bluefin show up in Cape Cod by mid May.

Yes. Chris of the Wasabi is very experienced offshore fisherman.
I leave for Korea for a business trip on Wed and I like to explore bluefin in Cape Cod as soon as I come back from Korea.

Its looks we have enough fishermen who can go on short notices.
We might not get top notch Capt like Capt Dom, Josh, Jeff, Rich or Capt Jimmy on short notices in prime time, but I should be able to find some decent boats.
The rates are different among boats. In case of Jimmy the Greek (31' Seavee) charges $1,200 including tip.
If you want combo ( tuna and bottomfish), Jimmy is the guy to go, but he is booked pretty solidly by bottom fishing fishermen.
