I saw this new product by Braid in the Offshore Angler catalog. Has anyone ever used this product or a similarly constructed leader? It looks like it is made of multiple strands of lighter mono woven together.

Not to knock Braid but I would be cautious of any kind of mass produced leader systems that may be made in foreign countries. Case in point, several other companies have/had leader systems that failed miserably. Some even took them off the market after several complaints of "lost fish".

Only way to know if its good is to buy one and pull on it. But remember consistancy in this game is important.

I've used the TWISTED leader system for jigging tuna this past season and I think it's a great idea. They can be made at home, but if you prefer they can be purchased as you know. I know My link sells them and you can trust their quality.
