V-Block Drilling Jig

Here is a simple jig that you can use for belly and weight holes . I build everything off the grain and always put the heavy grain down ,this can not be done with square ends left on and this is why I use this v-block jig . I like to make them from maple ,the one in the pics is just a piece of 2x4 I grabbed from the scrap pile .


step one ,Set your table saw blade to a 45 degree angle

step 2 ,Make your first cut

step 3, Flip your piece and make your second cut . After your second cut your block is complete

Set up a fence on your drill press and line up the bit with the center of the V-block
