From Doris Mae out of Barnegat Light, NJ

Updated 09/22/11

On our first trip, last Friday we caught 170 Mahi and one Yellow Fin, Sundays trip was canceled because of high winds, Wednesdays trip was excellent! We had a couple Mahi, 3 Sword Fish (60 to 100lbs), two White Marlin releases, 7 Long Fin (50 to 60lbs) and limited out with Yellow Fin (25 to 45lbs)

Kil, Voyager had a good trip on their tuna/tile trip yesterday into today.

Dennis got his limit+1, his friend had 2. A lot of fish were on the smaller side around 25lbs yft.

Flatlines worked very well and those jigging were rewarded. A lot of swords around they lost 2 brutes apparently and there was another monster nearby swimming free. The tile part of it wasn't good, no tiles were caught.

My friend was on the trip. He had three yft on Sevenseas Hooker jig (gray color).
It was his first tuna jigging trip and he was shocked it took only three minutes to land a yft using JM PE7reel.
