Hi, I've been looking for a moderate action or parabolic jigging rod (conventional) in multiple sections so that it would fit in a suitcase. I'm assuming this might be a contradiction, I haven't found one yet. But I would like to check with the experts in here before abandoning the idea entirely :)
Cheers,
Paal

I saw some companies make three-pieces rods.

We decided not to make three-pieces rods as it affects rod action.

There is telescope rods for easy carry too.

The carry-on rod case is 42".  You can carry-on on most airlines.  I haven't have any issue yet.

Thank you Kilsong, I was suspecting it was due to rod performance.

What kind of fish do you target with the rod ?

I am checking telescope rods, but they are usually long.

Target species for these trips is halibut and giant cod.

I've never owned a telescopic rod, it is a very interesting idea. Do you think they could be made strong enough, when there are no ferrules and the top section goes inside the bottom section? And what would the action be like?
