Ultra light Black Hole snapper rod/blank

The rod is new and is in testing stage.
This ulta light rod is like freshwater trout rod weighing 3.8 oz ( the blank weighs only 1.6 oz).
I tested the rod in amazement.  I could lift and swing one gallon of water (8.34 lb) with this tiny rod.
It is no wonder they got red snapper upto 90 cm with this rod. I can't wait to test the prototype rod for mutton snapper in Dry Tortugas out of Key West.

1.4 oz Black Hole Cape Cod Tai Special blank vs 140 lb goliath grouper

It doesn't match, but it happened on the Dry Tortugas Trip.
I was fishing mutton snapper with the Tai rod/Penn Fathom 12 reel filled with Black Hole PE5 line.
I had a fish and another big fish pulled hard on the way up. I thought shark took the hooked fish.
But to my surprise, it was a 120 - 150 lb goliath grouper when it came up to the surface.
I used around 20 lb drag to fight the fish.

I had about 10 mutton, nice AJ as well as many shark with the rod on this trip.

I just built 2 of these rods. Can't wait to put them in action. I am amazed at the power they have.
